M & H Construction Vic Pty Ltd is looking for an experienced Painter to join our team in Lavington. You'll work on residential and commercial projects, from surface prep through to final finish. Task & responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling cracks and holes, and removing old paint
• Apply primers, sealers, undercoats and finish coats using brushes, rollers and spray equipment
• Select and mix paints to match colours and meet job specifications
• Paint interior and exterior walls, ceilings, doors, trims and fixtures
• Protect surrounding areas and clean up the site after work
• Set up and safely use ladders, scaffolding and painting equipment
• Estimate materials and time needed for each job
• Follow workplace health and safety standards at all times
• Work with builders and other trades to meet project timelines

Qualification & experience

• Certificate III in Painting and Decorating or Minimum 1–2 years of relevant painting experience
• Good knowledge of paints, coatings and surface preparation methods
• Strong attention to detail and a good quality finish
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid White Card (preferred)
• Driver's licence (preferred)
