Pattison’s Patisserie Mona Vale store  is seeking a Retail Bakery Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our store. The successful applicant will lead the store team, maintain service standards and manage the retail sale of our pastries, cakes, breads, beverages and other products.

Task & responsibilities

Key responsibilities

• Plan and oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures.
• Determine stock requirements, place orders and monitor deliveries, stock levels and wastage.
• Prepare staff rosters and supervise, train and support retail and service staff.
• Maintain customer service, product presentation and food safety standards.
• Monitor sales, manage cash handling and maintain stock and financial records.
• Assist with store budgets, sales targets, promotions and local marketing activities.
• Respond to customer enquiries and resolve service issues.
• Ensure the store complies with workplace health and safety and applicable food handling requirements.

Qualification & experience

• Relevant experience managing a bakery, patisserie, café, food retail store or comparable retail operation.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise staff, manage rosters and control stock.
• Sound understanding of retail sales, customer service and food safety practices.
• Strong organisational, communication and record-keeping skills.
• A relevant diploma or higher qualification with 1 year experience , or at least three years of relevant experience in place of a formal qualification.
