Pattison’s Patisserie is looking for a Pastry Cook to join our Patisserie kitchen team.

Task & responsibilities

• Assist daily production of all high-quality, made-to-order, artisan goods.
• Our wide range of products includes small cakes & cookies, whole cakes, slabs & slices, sweet and savoury pastries.
• Maintaining the highest standards of food hygiene and cleanliness practices throughout the shift, to ensure OH and S regulations are followed.
• Working with the Head Chef to ensure all tasks are completed correctly and on time.
• All aspects of the preparation of pastry fillings from dry ingredients.
• Glazing and decorating pastries and cakes specifically as per the order instructions from the customer.
• Monitoring baking times based on the appearance of goods during the shift.
• Ensuring order deadlines met from the customer.

Qualification & experience

• Reliable and punctual
• Manage workloads to meet deadlines for made to order products
• Passionate about baking with amazing quality produce and following our traditional methods.
• Have a good work ethic
• A team player
• Be enthusiastic and have a positive attitude
• Own vehicle and current driver licence preferred
• Strong communication skill
• Minimum 1 years’ experience as a Pastrycook with a relevant Certificate 3 or above, or 3 years of experience without a relevant certificate.
