Role:

We’re seeking a Senior Barber who is reliable, hardworking, friendly and confident working in a bookings‑based barbershop.

Responsibilities:

• Welcoming clients and consulting with them on their desired hairstyles 
• Cutting and trimming hair according to clients' instructions
• Assessing hair and scalp health and recommend treatments & products
• Styling hair using chemical solutions and styling tools
• Shaving, trimming and shaping clients' beards and mustaches
• Washing and conditioning clients' hair
• Providing hairstyle suggestions to clients 
• Providing hair treatments and coloring 
• Providing face, scalp and neck massages
• Ensuring that combs, scissors, razors and other instruments are cleaned and sanitized after each use
• Processing clients' payments 
• Assisting with inventory maintenance by ordering new products as needed.

Skills:

• Excellent knowledge of current hairstyles and trends
• Must be able to give clear instructions 
• The ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Be passionate about hair styling & have a friendly and outgoing personality 
• Excellent communication skills 
• Exceptional customer service skills.

Qualification & Experience:

• Certificate III in Hairdressing or equivalent
• At least three (3) years of professional experience in a similar position.

💰 Salary: $75,000– $90,000 + super (dependent on experience)
