Task & Responsibilities

Tile Preparation and Installation:

• Measure and mark surfaces to plan work layouts.
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, filling cracks, and applying waterproofing membranes.
• Cut, shape, and install tiles using tools such as tile cutters, wet saws, and nippers.
• Apply adhesives, grouts, and finishes according to specifications.

Quality Assurance:

• Ensure tiling work meets company standards and client expectations.
• Inspect completed work for precision, alignment, and cleanliness.

Safety and Compliance:

• Follow workplace safety protocols and adhere to industry regulations.
• Safely handle and store tools and materials.

Problem-Solving:

• Address issues related to uneven surfaces, tile alignment, and material challenges.

Communication and Reporting:

• Collaborate with project managers, builders, and other tradespeople.
• Provide regular updates on project progress.

Qualification & Experience

Experience:

• Minimum 1 years of proven experience as a Wall and Floor Tiler.
• Hands-on experience in residential and commercial tiling projects.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in using tiling tools and equipment.
• Strong knowledge of adhesives, grouts, waterproofing, and materials.

Soft Skills:

• High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications:

• Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling or equivalent trade qualifications.
• White Card and valid driver’s license.
