VVR Pty Ltd is seeking experienced Telecommunications Technicians (Multiple positions) to join our team on a full-time basis. You will be responsible for installing, testing, maintaining and repairing telecommunications infrastructure and equipment across residential, commercial and network sites. The role will involve NBN-related installation and maintenance work, cable and equipment connections, fault finding, testing and repairs to help ensure reliable telecommunications services.

Task & responsibilities

• Set up and service telecommunication systems and related equipment at customer and network locations.
• Review plans, drawings and site requirements to determine the appropriate location and connections for telecommunications equipment.
• Install, test and maintain telecommunications infrastructure , switchboards and network sites.
• Carry out telecommunications installations and repairs at homes, businesses, exchanges and other network sites.
• Connect telecommunications cabling and equipment for telephone and data transmission services.
• Test equipment, appliances and connections to ensure they are working correctly and meet required standards.
• Identify and troubleshoot faults in telecommunications equipment and systems using appropriate testing equipment.
• Repair, replace and adjust faulty components and equipment as required.

Qualification & experience

• Certificate III or above (At least 3 years of relevant work experience may substitute the formal qualification).
• One year of relevant work experience
