My World Child Care is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Wall and Floor Tiler to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating beautiful, high-quality spaces and be driven to deliver customer satisfaction in a team environment.

Permanent full-time position, 38 hours per week.

Location: Perth metropolitan area, Western Australia, including Cockburn.

Salary: $80,000 to $85,000 per year plus superannuation.

Task & responsibilities

Your duties will include:

• examining plans, measuring and marking surfaces and laying out work
• preparing wall and floor surfaces by removing old tiles, grout and adhesive, filling holes and cracks, and cleaning surfaces
• spreading adhesive onto prepared surfaces and tiles, and setting tiles in position
• using tile-cutting tools to cut and shape tiles needed for edges and corners, and around objects such as fittings and pipes
• ensuring tiles are correctly aligned and spaced
• grouting tiles, and cleaning and removing excess grout
• applying waterproofing systems

Qualification & experience

The successful applicant will need to have:

• Proven experience as a Wall and Floor Tiler.
• Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a qualified wall and floor tiler.
• Strong knowledge of tiling techniques and materials.
• Ability to interpret architectural drawings and execute designs accurately.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality work within tight deadlines.
• Ability to lead.
