About the Role

Reporting to the Operations Manager of Food & Beverage, this is a hands-on leadership role responsible for managing front of house operations and ensuring seamless service delivery. You will play a key role in team leadership, operational performance, guest experience and financial outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a motivated, guest-focused front of house team
• Oversee daily service operations, ensuring high service standards and presentation
• Support the management of budgets, KPIs and reporting
• Rostering, recruitment and performance management
• Maintain strong guest engagement and manage feedback and service recovery
• Support beverage list management, stock ordering and stocktake processes
• Deliver training, onboarding and continuous development using internal frameworks
• Ensure adherence to safety, compliance and standard operating procedures

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

Essential Skills & Experience

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a supervisory or management role in a food and beverage environment
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations (Tasmanian product knowledge desirable)
• Proven leadership capability, including coaching, mentoring and performance management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities

Qualifications

• Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)
• Relevant hospitality qualification or equivalent experience
