This role is suited to an experienced Restaurant Manager with a passion for Italian hospitality who takes pride in overseeing daily restaurant operations, leading and supervising staff, maintaining high standards of food and customer service, managing stock and operational requirements, and ensuring compliance with food safety, hygiene and workplace standards.

Task & responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant and ensure efficient service delivery. 
• Plan menus in consultation with chefs and coordinate food and beverage offerings. 
• Manage restaurant reservations and coordinate dining and function requirements. 
• Supervise, train and coordinate restaurant staff.
• Monitor the quality of food, beverages and customer service to maintain consistently high standards. 
• Manage stock levels, order supplies and monitor inventory. 
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, workplace health and safety requirements. 
• Respond to customer enquiries, feedback and complaints professionally. 
• Monitor operational procedures and contribute to improving restaurant efficiency and service standards. 
• Work collaboratively with chefs and kitchen staff to coordinate front-of-house and kitchen operations. 

Qualification & experience

AQF Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Hospitality Management (or equivalent), or at least three years of relevant experience in restaurant management. 

Demonstrated experience managing restaurant operations, supervising staff and maintaining high standards of customer service in an Italian restaurant environment is highly regarded.
