What you’ll do -

Whilst studying a Certificate III Electrotechnology working with GM³ over 4 years, you’ll have the opportunity to:

• Gain exposure to a wide range of electrical experiences - including automated production machinery, mobile equipment, conveyor systems, substations, winders, communications and control systems.
• Build your skills in reading electrical diagrams, drawings and specifications to understand how our equipment works.
• Gain specialised training and experience in Hazardous Area electrical equipment. 
• Get involved in the operation, maintenance, testing, inspection and fault finding of our underground equipment.
• Install and maintain underground mining equipment

What we’re looking for -

• Ability to commence in January 2027
• Ability to work in a team environment as well as individually
• Commitment to full term of the apprenticeship and study requirements
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills and knowledge
• Demonstrated interest/passion in the trade

Must-haves -

• Drivers licence and reliable transport
• NSW National Police Check
• Willingness to undergo Coal Board Order 45 Medical as pre-employment requirement
