How to apply
The application process is simple. In most cases a Working Holiday Maker Visa will be granted within 48 hours after lodgement. Check Current Processing Times.

Pay the application fee – AUD 840
Note the transaction reference number (TRN) for your records
You may need to demonstrate that you can support yourself while you are in Australia and have the funds to leave Australia at the end of your stay.
This is usually about AUD5,000 for your initial stay, plus the fare to where you are going after leaving Australia.
Once your Working Holiday Maker Visa (WHMV) has been granted you can book flights and start applying for jobs.
